The St. Petersburg College Foundation and the Education Foundation of the Florida Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. invite you to join us in raising the funds to build the first student housing at St. Petersburg College.
St. Petersburg College provides accessible, learner-centered education for students. The St. Petersburg College Foundation is committed to student success and promotes the practice of philanthropy through partnerships with the community.
Since 1965, the Education Foundation of the Florida Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. has been building affordable housing for women on Florida College and University campuses. With the support of women across the state, we have built three scholarship houses located on the campuses of Florida State, University of Central Florida and Florida Atlantic University. Working in partnership with the St. Petersburg College Foundation, the next scholarship house will be built on the Gibbs campus of St. Petersburg College. |
This house will be a major step toward higher education for deserving women and will be known as the “Helen K Leslie BPW Scholarship House”. To jumpstart the fundraising for this house, we will hold an unforgettable event on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 7pm to 11pm at the Don Cesar Beach Resort on St. Petersburg Beach. This house will be the first in a series of houses to be built for students attending St Petersburg College.
